Ross Med takes a holistic approach when it comes to considering medical school admission requirements. You're more than your GPA and MCAT scores. We look also look at your entire achievement history, and your potential, character, and drive to become a physician.
Admissions Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Undergraduate cumulative GPA and GPA in required premedical course
- Performance in graduate work (if applicable)
- MCAT scores
- Personal statement
- Letters of recommendation, at least one of which is from an academic reference
- Extracurricular activities and accomplishments
- Work history and professional or volunteer experience
- For international applicants: Applicants who have completed their undergraduate studies in countries that have an educational system different from that of the United States or Canada will be evaluated on their merits but will be expected to have completed a premedical curriculum comparable to that completed by US and Canadian students.

Our MD degree program curriculum combines foundational medical sciences, early supervised hands-on clinical experience with patients, and a diverse island experience that can prepare you to be practice-ready in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Medical Sciences is a systems-based curriculum modeled after U.S. curriculums and designed to allow you to address the processes of health and disease holistically. Medical Sciences includes clinical skills training, standardized patient cases, small-group learning, and early hands-on clinical experience in the community within your first month.
Additionally, you will have access to:
- Anatomical Sciences and Medical Imaging Facility
- Simulation Institute
- Standardized Patient and Interview Skills Training Rooms
- Patient Examination rooms with A/V links to classrooms
You will learn to think like a doctor early in your medical school experience, and it better prepares you for your medical licensing exams.
