Career Experience
This is my eighth year working for tutor.com. I am a former middle and high school math and science teacher. I taught for five years. Before I became a teacher, I worked a variety of exciting and unique jobs at a planetarium, a science center, a solar cell research lab, and childcare at a Montessori school. My goal for the future is to continue to work a job that supports kids' success and provides them with positive experiences.
I Love Tutoring Because
it helps me make an impact on students' learning experiences and lives. I love seeing the light bulb go on for students when they begin to understand a concept that they were struggling with. Tutoring allows me to continue to support kids and their education long after my time as a classroom teacher ends.
