Career Experience
I have worked as a freelance English teacher for native Spanish speakers, as an English–Spanish and Spanish–English translator, and as a proofreader. In 2022, I was the proofreader for two books published in Colombia. Recently, while completing a Master's degree in Literature and Culture, I worked as an academic researcher.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring is an incentive for me to keep learning. I believe great tutoring requires someone who is constantly reading and studying. It also allows me to connect with people who may be at a different stage than I am, but whose experience as students I deeply understand. Since I first tutored formally through PASS (Peer-Assisted Study Support) during my undergraduate studies, I realized how fulfilling it was to help others make their writing clearer and sharper, to guide them in understanding new concepts, and to offer them practical tools they can use with confidence.
