Career Experience

I was a high school English and journalism teacher for 36 years and am recently retired. During my career I taught English in all grades 7-12 and also taught an upper level college writing course to college-bound high school seniors.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy the variety of topics and grade levels that I have the opportunity to tutor, and I really enjoy the one-on-one teaching environment that tutoring allows. It is also very rewarding when a student who has struggled with a concept now fully understands it, thanks to the tutoring session.
