Career Experience
I currently work as a volunteer with a literacy organization to tutor people to learn English as a second language (ESL). I am retired from a local utility company where I was a leader and manager in a variety of disciplines, including leadership in various customer service operations, process & quality, and projects. I also have experience as training instructor to train employees how to navigate our computer systems and applications, as well as how to help our customers. In the past, I taught music for several years.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love to work with people, and I love to share information and help people increase their knowledge, confidence, and resourcefulness. It is fulfilling to engage with people and be a part of their growth and forward movement. Knowledge is power. Learning is empowering.
