Career Experience
I am an experienced reading/language arts teacher. I have worked with and helped students from grades one on up to college level. I can help with essay writing, research writing, and/or with improving reading skills.
I Love Tutoring Because
In school, students too often do not get the one-on-one interaction with their teacher that can help them better understand a task or a concept. With a tutor, students can ask clarifying questions they don't want to ask in class. In addition, a tutor can help students focus on the task at hand. I think one of the best things a tutor can do is break what seems to be an overwhelming assignment into a more manageable one. But, mostly, I love tutoring because it gives me a chance to be a cheerleader for students and give them confidence in their abilities.
