Academics
As the seventh-largest AACSB accredited business school in the country, Pace University’s Lubin School of Business offers myriad options for those wishing to pursue either a broad or specialized MBA: either a traditional Full-Time program (usually completed in two years), a Part-Time program, a (competitive) Fast-Track MBA in Financial Management that can be completed in one year, or an Executive MBA. Concentrations are available in accounting, analytics, finance, information systems, international business, management, marketing, and taxation—students can choose up to two for an interdisciplinary option—and can further hone their skills via specialized tracks such as financial risk management and entrepreneurship.
Professors here are “incredibly knowledgeable in their respective fields,” and every faculty member is “interested in creating meaningful relationships with students” and “takes the time to know [student] names and interests.” Teachers “care about you getting a job” and “talk about interviews in class.” Outside of the classroom, Pace has set up an infrastructure designed to strengthen the school’s reach and reputation while providing opportunities for students to customize their degree. The Center for Global Business Programs sets up academic and professional programs that allow students to gain practical international experience in countries such as China, Brazil, and India, and the renowned Center for Global Governance, Reporting, and Regulation (CGGRR) hosts conferences and sponsors research and discussion on global financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and governance.
